Hamel Sauvignon Blanc, 2020

A pale, clear yellow in the glass, the elegantly restrained nose reveals aromas of lemon, grapefruit and pear over notes of apple blossom, sage and mineral shimmers of crushed stone. Brimming with freshness, the palate is tightly coiled around a core of bright citrus and early season white stone fruit notes. Focused and taut, the rounded but featherweight structure offers a refreshing and saline finish. The wine is accessible and most enjoyable in its youth and is recommended to be opened over the next three years.
