The color of the wine is a deep dark ruby red. The nose reveals the concentration of the drought vintage with scents of ripe black cherries, black berries, chocolate, and licorice. On the palate the fruit is pure with silky ripe tannins and a multi-layered and textured mouth feel. The flavors linger on the palate with hints of blackcurrant.
